If you are travelling to Bourton-on-the-water by train the nearest station is in Moreton-in-Marsh. From here catch the Pullhams bus to Bourton on the Water.

We have highlighted a few different road routes below to make finding us as easy as possible if you can’t use public transport.
Directions
Stratford-upon-Avon accessible from M5
Approx – 45min drive-time
From Stratford –upon- Avon head to Stow on the Wold. Leave Stow on the A429 to Cirencester and follow brown Tourist signs to Bourton-on-the-Water and Birdland.
Driving directions Oxford accessible from M40
Approx – 1hr drive-time
From Oxford take A40 to Cheltenham turn to Burford and take A424 out of Burford to Stow . From Stow follow Brown Tourist signs to Birdland.
Cheltenham accessible from M5
Approx – 30min drive-time
From Cheltenham take A40 to Oxford. At Andoversford traffic lights turn left to Bourton on the Water and follow brown tourist signs to Birdland.
Swindon accessible from M4
Approx – 50min drive-time
From Swindon take A361 to Stow and Burford. Then through Burford take A424 to Stow on the Wold and follow brown tourist signs to Birdland.
The closest Pay and Display Car Parks are on Rissington Road (1 min walk) and Station Road (5 min walk). On some weekends additional paid parking is provided by Bourton Vale Cricket Club, Manor Fields on Station Road and The Cotswold School.
We recommend that on weekends and holidays you plan to arrive early, as these car parks can get full very quickly.
