Make the most of the British summertime and pack a picnic to bring with you on your next trip to Birdland. Whether it be the traditional sandwiches and scotch eggs or something a little more exotic, there’s plenty of places to enjoy your picnic here.

There are three picnic areas located around the park so you can enjoy your lunch overlooking the Cassowary and Emu Meadow, nearby the Encounters Zone or ideally situated for a stop next to the Children’s play Area.

For those looking for adventure you can even pitch up in the Jurassic Journey for a prehistoric picnic!

For days when the English summer isn’t quite up to scratch, which we all know is a regular occurrence, there are sheltered picnic spots throughout the park to relax knowing you’ll be able to enjoy your picnic basket in overcast conditions with over-head cover.

Whilst you’re tucking into lunch enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Birdland Park & Gardens, soaking up the sound of the river Windrush, our residents’ chirps and tweets and the breeze through the splendid flora surrounding our woodland.
