Lovers of our flippered friends can get hands-on here at Birdland Park and Gardens with the Feed the Penguins experience. Help our expert keepers feed Birdland’s much-loved penguin residents including England’s only breeding group of King Penguins and the comical characters that are the Humboldt Penguins. You’ll also get to go behind the scenes and help the staff prepare for the feeding display which takes place daily at 3:00 pm.

Useful Information:
Bringing a Dog to Birdland?
Well behaved dogs are welcome at Birdland Park & Gardens but we do ask that you keep them on a short lead at all times. Water bowls can be found in the park by the café, encounter zone and at admissions.
Disabled Access
Birdland is set in a flat picturesque garden which is all accessible via wheelchairs and pushchairs. Most paths are tarmacked, some are gravelled and there are areas of grass leading to the picnic benches and Close Encounters Zone. If you should need assistance please ask a member of staff as they will be happy to help. Learn more about Disabled Access.
Where to Park?
The closest Pay and Display Car Parks are on Rissington Road (1 min walk) and Station Road (5 min walk). On some weekends additional paid parking is provided by Bourton Vale Cricket Club, Manor Fields on Station Road and The Cotswold School.
We recommend that on weekends and holidays you plan to arrive early, as these car parks can get full very quickly.
