If you’re curious about a career in caring for exotic birds, or simply have some spare time and would like to help out behind the scenes here at Birdland Park and Gardens there are opportunities to volunteer and your chance to become a member of the team.

Volunteers are invaluable to the work here at our wildlife park, assisting with everything from maintaining the gardens, caring after the birds, assisting with feeding displays or even conducting surveys the list of jobs is endless. The aforementioned is just a handful of tasks and there’s lots more to be undertaken on a daily basis.

We do ask that bird lovers looking to volunteer here at Birdland, in Bourton-on-the-Water are able to commit to a period of 6 months for reasons of continuity. Whether it’s an hour a day or 3 days a week we’re open to discussion on whatever time you may have to help us care for our creatures here.

Birdland Park and Gardens is fully wheelchair accessible and with this in mind we are able to accommodate everyone, with whatever accessibility needs they may have, on a volunteering opportunity here at Birdland Park and Gardens.

All of our volunteers will be working with people in the park, so enthusiasm and good social skills will really help you succeed in your role here at Birdland.
