youth groups

Youth Groups like Scouts, Cubs, Guides and Brownies, as well as many other organisations can take part in the fun too at Birdland Park & Gardens.

Embark on an adventure in the Jurassic Journey, take on a trail to beat the Birdland Challenge, and come face to face with a cold-blooded creature in the Close Encounters.

We offer special packages for uniformed groups and they often find a day out at Birdland makes for a fun experience and memories to cherish with their friends.

A trip to see us here means youngsters will learn lots of fun facts about our birds during the informative feeding displays. Catch our penguins, flamingos and pelicans enjoying their lunch with our expert keepers on hand to tell you all about them and their quirky personalities.

Little ones will be able to ask any burning questions at the Meet the Keeper sessions which will also provide youth groups with the chance to get up close with our residents.

Groups can watch wild birds from strategically placed hides, see wildflowers, insects and bats amongst hundreds of other species of wildlife.

This area is also home to the Jurassic Journey area where you can spot 30 life-sized dinosaurs. Have a go at uncovering fossilised bones in the Dino-Dig and listen out for the sounds from 65 million years ago.

Other useful information that might help you in organising your day out to Birdland includes coach parking, which is available in a nearby car-park approximately a 5-minute walk to Birdland.

When you purchase a ticket to Birdland you’re free to come and go throughout the day, allowing you to visit the beautiful Bourton-on the-Water and catch all of our feeding displays.
