Here at Birdland we hold Special Events throughout the year coinciding with school holidays and important days for birds. From our Summer of Feathered Fun, a celebration of our most flamboyant residents, to International Owl Awareness Day in August raising the profile of one of the UK’s much loved species, there’s lots happening.

Whilst grown-ups will find Birdland entertaining there’s lots for the little ones to do too. They can get hands on in Close Encounters and meet reptiles or even get the chance to hold a bird of prey. Intrepid explorers can venture into the Jurassic Journey and spot prehistoric predators before testing out their palaeontology skills in the Dino Dig, there are lots of Kids Activities waiting to be discovered.
