Summer of Feathered Fun 2025
There’s a summer of feathered fun just waiting to be discovered at Birdland Park and Gardens throughout the school holidays (Saturday 19th July – Tuesday 2nd September.)
Among the exciting schedule of daily entertainments are penguin, pelican and flamingo feeding displays where visitors can find out all about the different species, what they like to eat, who is the most mischievous of the flock and fascinating insights from Birdland’s team of expert keepers.
Come and meet our adorable new Humboldt Penguin chicks as they settle in with the colony! Keep an eye out for nesting Flamingos sitting on eggs, and see if you can spot recently hatched chicks from species like the Cattle Egret and Blacksmith Lapwing.
Birdland cares for more than 500 birds, ranging from the England’s only breeding colony of king penguins and awesome birds of prey to parrots, cassowaries and cranes in a mix of free-flying and aviary displays.
Prehistoric adventures await intrepid explorers and those brave enough to venture into the Jurassic Journey. Spot species including T-Rex and brachiosaurus through the trees and look up high in to the canopies for a glimpse of the pterodactyls flying above.
Guests visiting this summer can also take advantage of the 2025 summer pass, giving unlimited entry for the 7 weeks of summer and 10% off in the shop and café for only £20 per person. T&C’s apply.
Birdland Park and Gardens is open daily from 10am throughout the summer holidays.
