Summer of Feathered Fun

There’s a summer of feathered fun just waiting to be discovered at Birdland Park and Gardens throughout the school holidays (Saturday 20th July – Sunday 1st September.)
Among the exciting schedule of daily entertainments are penguin, pelican and flamingo feeding displays where visitors can find out all about the different species, what they like to eat, who is the most mischievous of the flock and fascinating insights from Birdland’s team of expert keepers.
This summer Birdland have teamed up with Larksworld Creative Workshops to provide FREE face painting every Tuesday and craft workshops making dinosaur footprints, every Wednesday with a small charge of £3.50 per person, with everyone able to take their creation home with them.
Birdland cares for more than 500 birds, ranging from the England’s only breeding colony of king penguins and awesome birds of prey to parrots, cassowaries and cranes in a mix of free-flying and aviary displays.
Prehistoric adventures await intrepid explorers and those brave enough to venture into the Jurassic Journey. Spot species including T-Rex and brachiosaurus through the trees and look up high in to the canopies for a glimpse of the pterodactyls flying above.
Guests visiting this summer can also take advantage of the NEW for 2024 Summer Pass, giving unlimited entry for the 7 weeks of summer and 10% off in the shop and café for only £20 per person. T&C’s apply.
Birdland Park and Gardens is open daily from 10am throughout the summer holidays.
