Emu

emu 1 - Emu

The emu is the second-largest living bird in the world and is native to Australia. These flightless birds can reach up to 6.5 feet tall and are known for their incredible running speed, sprinting up to 30 miles per hour thanks to their powerful legs.

Emus have soft, brown feathers, long necks, and curious personalities. Despite their size, they are generally gentle and inquisitive, often seen pecking around for insects, seeds, and plants.
