River Watch Week
Join us at Birdland for River Watch Week! Running from Monday 27th April – Sunday 3rd May, alongside our daily talk and feed schedule, we’ll be hosting two interactive keeper-led sessions each day at the following times:
11:30–12:00 & 14:15–14:45
During these sessions, guests will have the opportunity to explore real river samples collected each morning by our team
Using identity mats and magnifying glasses, you can take a closer look at the fascinating river life and discover what lives beneath the surface!
Our keepers will be on hand throughout to talk through findings, answer questions, and explain how Riverfly monitoring helps us assess the health of the river and its wider ecosystem.
Come along, get hands-on, and discover what the river can tell us while learning more about conservation in action!
