Celebrate Endangered Species at Birdland!

World Penguin Day 4 - Celebrate Endangered Species at Birdland!

Endangered Species Day is officially celebrated on Friday 15 May, but here at Birdland, we will be highlighting our amazing endangered residents all weekend long!

Join us for a special weekend dedicated to raising awareness of some of the world’s most vulnerable species, and discover the amazing residents we care for right here at Birdland.

Meet some of our most fascinating species, including the striking Northern Bald Ibis, the elegant Grey Crowned Crane, and the beautiful but critically endangered Bali Myna!

You can also discover more unusual favourites such as our Black Beauty Stick Insect and the extraordinary Axolotl, each one a brilliant example of the diversity of life we’re working to protect.

Plus catch daily talk and feed schedule where you can learn more about these birds and the conservation work helping to secure their future.

Penguins – 11:00am & 3:00pm
Flamingos – 11:30am & 4:00pm
Parrots – 12:00pm
