Birdland is home to more than 500 birds, ranging from England’s only breeding colony of king penguins and awesome birds of prey to parrots, cassowaries and cranes in a mix of free-flying and aviary displays.

Penguin Feeding Experience (£75)
Birdland’s most popular gift experience is perfect for people who love everyone’s favourite flightless birds. Help keepers feed England’s only breeding group of King Penguins and the comical characters that are the Humboldt Penguins.
Gift Vouchers, valid for 365 days from purchase date are issued and the recipient can then book in a date suitable for them. This experience often sells out far in advance and keepers recommend booking as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

Fans of the feathered friends at Birdland have the chance to Adopt a Bird which means you’ll be able to help support your beaked buddy throughout the year.
By adopting you are helping us to care for these animals by meeting their dietary, housing and social needs.
