Fall in love with feathers this valentine’s

Love is in the air this February at Birdland Park & Gardens, as the Cotswold attraction invites couples and families to celebrate Valentine’s season with its charming Tweethearts Week, running from 14th to 22nd February.

Set within nine acres of beautiful gardens beside the River Windrush, Birdland offers a truly unique and heart-warming day out, home to over 500 birds from around the world and some of nature’s most devoted partnerships.

During Tweethearts Week, visitors can pick up a special trail map and follow clues around the park, discovering Birdland’s most affectionate avian couples along the way. Those who complete the trail will be able to collect a heart shaped chocolate.

Meet King Penguin Spike, who has captured hearts worldwide; previously named most popular penguin in the March of the Penguin Madness competition, appearing on television alongside David Attenborough and gaining a devoted following of fans, all while helping to shine a spotlight on penguin conservation.

Guests can also wander hand-in-hand through immersive zones such as Out of Africa, Parrot Pandemonium and the Desert House, or take a step back in time on the Jurassic Journey woodland trail, complete with life-sized dinosaurs.
