Great Grey Owl

The Great Grey Owl is a very large and is documented as the largest species of owl by length. In some areas, this owl is known as the Phantom of the North. Adults have a round head with a grey face and yellow eyes with darker circles around them. These owls do not build their own nests, can typically use ones left by larger birds.

Distribution: Northern Hemisphere
