Autumn is the perfect time of year for younger visitors to make the most of a visit to Birdland Park & Gardens in Bourton-on-the-Water.
With older children back at school, it is the ideal opportunity to bring toddlers to enjoy the Park without the summer crowds.
Throughout the Autumn term, there will be special spotter trails and toddler activities to help them make the most of their visit.
There will also be daily Meet the Keeper sessions at 12.15pm, where youngsters can get to meet some of the birds, find out more about them and ask any questions they might have.
This special close encounter session is a great way to get toddlers interested and enthused about the natural world in a fun and entertaining way.
Birdland provides a safe and controlled environment with lots of visual stimulation for youngsters of all ages to discover and explore.
The regular talks and feeding display programmes bring the whole experience vividly to life and keepers ensure even the smaller ones in push-chairs get a great view of the birds.
There are plenty of picnic spots dotted around the park as well to make the visit easy, as well as fun and relaxing. There is also a small indoor play area and a woodland play trail.
The Marshmouth Nature Reserve offers a beautiful, secluded 2.5 acre trail through marshland, ponds, meadow and copse with views over the River Windrush.
Children under 3 are admitted free.
