Step inside the Indoor Discovery Zone, and find that it’s not all about the birds here at Birdland! Visitors can discover a whole host of egg-laying creatures. In some ways, they are related to the bird species but look very different.
Youngsters will have the chance to come face to face with egg-laying creatures from fish to amphibians and reptiles to mammals. Find out what is unique about a bird and how they are different from other animals which lay eggs.
Discover amphibians like lizards and frogs and learn how they are able to survive both above and under the water. You can also find out how they’re cold-blooded bodies adapt to their habitats. Encounter snakes and understand how and why they shed their skin. Plus discover whether their flexible bodies have bones!
For youngsters who want to get hands-on, interactive sessions are also held here at the Indoor Discovery Zone at Birdland Park and Gardens. You’ll get the chance to hold a number of creatures including scaly lizards and silky snakes.
